Hi,
I'm French, I've just turned 18 and I'd like to find a summer job in London for this summer.
i've been twice to the US and about 8 times in England; all my trips were fairly short (except 1 month and a half in Philadelphia)
and my English is not bad, at least as good to be able to understand everything and to be understood without any
trouble.
During my trip in Philadelphia, I worked in a summer-camp and it was great to work with kids.
I come to London from june,28 to july,30 and everyone told me most of the jobs available in summer are in restaurants
and pubs. I'd like to work in as well, but do you know whether there are other job-offers?
Thank you for you answers

IT is NOT illegal to work in the UK, since both nations are part of the EU.

I hear there's good work down the docks

I dont think you will be illegal to work as the first answerer said, because you are an eu citizen, so you definitely have a right to work in the UK. check monster.com, totaljobs.com, hotrecruit.com, for jobs, you can also do a google search for jobs as well.
