Every time i asked someone what they wanted to do in the future, where they wanted to study and go to college everybody said "London" and i thought that with so many people moving to London, It wouldn't be the "paradise" everyone makes it out to be. But oh, how the tables have turned, and i got accepted into a college...where? In London! I know that in general this generation has a lot of difficulties finding a job and building up a future, but thinking about the economy and all that sh*t won't pay the extremely high rents and the extremely expensive costs of London. I am terrified that i will move to London and slowly, day by day, the money i have saved will finish and i won't be able to pay my rents and in a few words i'm scared that maybe, i will not make it. I don't have a problem with jobs, i don't have a problem about what kind of job it will be (p.e waitress, cocktal waitress, selling or folding clothes at a clothing store), i have experience as a waitress but i'm pretty sure that London is full of young girls wanting to work as a waitress. Do you have any tips? Will i find a job in London?

Take the road less traveled. You need to do, what everyone else is not thinking. Don't follow the herd.

Stay at home. Find a job near you. Apply on line, for jobs elsewhere. But only attend an interview that is not going to cost a fortune in transport, Unless If they tell you, you WILL be employed by them if you attend on the day arranged. Look in your local news agents window, for people advertising for home help. If you come to London, you can only guarantee to get work in the sex trade by standing in the street at night. and you have to compete with other desperate women who charge £5. So without a job secured before you come, your worst fears are well founded

Most students get a job at McDonalds or Dominos or something similar. It's really easy to get in to. It's just the matter if they're recruiting or not...
